My Healing Journey/BIO

Dr. Bailey did his undergraduate work at Denison University then went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. From there he entered an internship program at the University Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl.  He was then hired to open an urgent care center in Savannah, Ga. This quickly developed into a large Family Practice as well. In 1996 Dr. Bailey was chosen to be a Medical Director for the Sailing venue of the Atlanta Olympics.  After Dr. Bailey developed fibromyalgia in 1988 and then herniated discs ten years later, he moved into Pain Medicine, bringing his own experiences in healing with alternative therapies into his practice.
After getting minimal relief from his pain and anxiety/depression issues with differing forms of energy therapies, he found QT and experienced dramatic healing of both his residual pain and anxiety.  Don, then, elected to move full-time into Quantum Techniques. “Dr. Don” found that traditional medicine was so far behind that he practices Quantum Techniques not as an MD but as a lay healer and an ordained minister.

My Personal Testimonial

Until my late 20’s I was in good health except for panic disorder which was thoroughly treated with medications. However, in the mid-80’s, and just 2 weeks after a Hepatitis B vaccination I started having severe pain throughout my body, overwhelming fatigue, and some feelings that I couldn’t think as clearly. I saw two rheumatologists: the first told me that “nothing was wrong with me” and the second suggested that if we just waited long enough that my tests would probably become positive for lupus! In both cases my hope was literally sucked out of me. As an individual I knew that something was seriously wrong with me-as a physician, I knew that some conditions are difficult to diagnose and that we don’t have all the answers. Two years later the “new” disease of fibromyalgia was recognized but the identical syndrome of “fibrocytis” had been recognized decades earlier. I felt like many patients feel, that the doctors did not spend much time with me and that they really didn’t explain their thinking to me. I was frustrated that more of a “team approach” hadn’t been taken-perhaps physical therapy or other options. As a doctor, I also knew that many physicians are frustrated when a patient doesn’t fit a clear cut diagnosis-and they are rushed for time and feel overwhelmed by their patient load.
Thus began my first venture into the preludes of energy healing, that is, meditation and guided visualization that had been studied in Eastern medicine and by a few medical doctors and psychologists in the West. I responded pretty well to this and good nutrition but I still had some pain and fatigue.

The fibromyalgia and panic attacks returned. I started reading more about “energy medicine”-I knew as a physician that traditional medicine had nothing further to offer me. I was treating several patients with fibromyalgia and making little headway.

I found that energy healing strives to remove “energetic
blocks” and allow the individual’s innate or inner intelligence to heal themselves. I tried some different energy approaches with some success. However, it wasn’t until I discovered Quantum Techniques that I saw significant, rapid improvement. After just one treatment I found my fibromyalgia pains disappearing and my anxiety lessening significantly!
Stephen and Beth detected toxins that needed to be cleared, and long-standing emotional issues that needed healing.

Another thing that attracted me to QT is that it is a much more thorough and in depth process than any other type of energy healing I have found-with a much higher success rate. It also does not reject the positive things in Western medicine and has elegantly incorporated Eastern medicine.

After my own experience with QT and my frustrations with the limits of Western medicine, I knew my mission was to bring this healing opportunity to all those suffering with acute and chronic illnesses!
